Due to the increased need for emergency shelter, our Board of Directors launched a SafeHaven Capital Campaign with goals to double our emergency shelter capacity through renovations of 2 shelters located in undisclosed locations in the county and constructing a crisis counseling center in Delaware Water Gap, PA. Through the efforts of volunteers, staff and community, in the 2008-2009 fiscal year, we solidified $1,276,928.12 for the campaign, renovated one of our shelters that was in dire need of renovations and completed the construction and move into the Frances Hughes Crisis Counseling Center.
