Support Groups

All services are available for women, children, and men, and are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.

Women’s Resources offers support group programs for victims and survivors of domestic and/or sexual abuse, as well as family and friends of those affected by the abuse or violence.

Our programs are carefully curated by our counselors to target specific topics and issues surrounding domestic and sexual violence while providing a safe space for participants to speak freely and be heard. Ultimately, our goal is to educate and heal through conversation.

Women's Resources of Monroe County brings you a new trauma-informed hybrid support group!

“Together, We Rise” combines traditional talking/peer support with an art workshop. The objective of this group is to empower women to rise up from the ashes of their circumstances and stand in opposition to violence. We will touch on subjects including (but not limited to)- red flags, boundaries, and safety planning.

The support group will run once per month from February until July of 2023 | 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

The meeting dates are as follows:

  • February 22, 2023
  • March 15, 2023
  • April 19, 2023
  • May 17, 2023
  • June 21, 2023
  • July 19, 2023

All meetings are being held at our main office in the Delaware Water Gap. If transportation is an issue, we can accommodate those with a Zoom link to join after the art portion of the meeting is over.

We are currently accepting women only. All those who plan on attending should call to register before each meeting.
