Two things that the survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault need the most are hope, and empowerment. Hope that things can and will change for them, that there is a network of people and resources that will support them, and empowerment- the ability to take their lives back, to make their voices be heard, and to be who they truly are, without the fear of abuse.
You can help survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault find the hope and empowerment they need by supporting Women’s Resources of Monroe County. Women’s Resources is committed to helping survivors access the resources they need to change their lives, through our free and confidential 24-hour hotline, free counseling for children and adults, free and secure emergency shelter, legal and medical advocacy and prevention and education outreach programs.
