Medical Advocacy/Accompaniment

All services are available for women, children, and men, and are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.

Trained Women’s Resources counselor/advocates are available to meet victims of sexual violence at medical facilities in Monroe County in order to provide support during medical examinations, as well as information about available options and resources. Medical advocacy services are available 24/7.

If the hospital staff does not offer to call a medical advocate you can ask them to call or call yourself from the hospital by dialing our 24-hour hotline: 570-421-4200.
