Direct Services Supervisor Full Time (37.5 hour/week)

Women's Resources of Monroe County is seeking a clinical supervisor who will oversee direct service programing and staff.

The Direct Services Supervisor (DSS) will be responsible for the supervision of all direct- and non-direct service staff, provision of individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, accompaniment and advocacy. Specifically for the counselors, they will provide clinical supervision and oversight of the quality of care and services to clients. In addition, they will maintain records of supervision and performance of direct and non-direct service staff while maintaining standard of performance. They will assist direct services staff in the education of victims/survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and maintain high standards in documentation and data collection/oversight.  The DSS will provide counseling for victims at Women’s Resources’ various offices and work with various community systems on the dynamics and issues related to domestic violence and sexual assault upon request. They will monitor and maintain quality assurance measures for client files and assess resources and training needs, as they relate to direct services while moving toward our mission and strategic plan for growth and development. This position shall be the Direct Services Supervisor as specified in 42 PA C.S.A. §5945.1

Master’s degree in Social/Human Services or related fields required. License in related field preferred. Must complete 70 hour Counselor/advocate required training.

Shelter Counselor/Advocate (Full Time, 37.5 hours/week - 3rd shift / Overnights)

Successful applicant will possess experience and documented achievements in their work with diverse individuals who have experienced abuse and trauma, and the ability to manage crisis with adults and children.

S/he must possess the ability to work within a residential/shelter setting with families in crisis and be able to work independently within established professional, ethical boundaries. S/he must demonstrate strong decision making and conflict resolution skills Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred and life experience respected. Must complete a required 69 hour crisis intervention training.

Counselor/Advocate – Full Time (37.5 hour/week) 

Established non-profit, human service organization seeks outcomes driven, positive individuals with a passion for providing counseling and advocacy services on behalf of victims/survivors of domestic and/or sexual abuse.

Services are provided in our main office, satellite locations, and in other community settings. This position is responsible for providing crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, advocacy, and accompaniment, and outreach/awareness to victims/survivors of domestic/sexual assault.

Successful applicants will possess experience and documented achievements in crisis work with adults and children, and be open to flexible work schedules. Reliable transportation required. Local travel required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field required, Master’s preferred, additional life experience respected. Must complete 70-hour counselor/advocate required training.
