Shelter Counselor/Advocate (Full Time, 2nd Shift partial weekends, 37.5 hours/week)
The successful applicants will possess experience and documented achievements in their work with diverse individuals who have experienced abuse and trauma, and the ability to manage crises with adults and children.
Applicants must possess the ability to work within a residential/shelter setting with families in crisis and be able to work independently within established professional, and ethical boundaries. They must demonstrate strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred and life experience is respected. Must complete a required 69-hour crisis intervention training.

Off-Site/Mobile Counselor/Advocate (Full-Time, 37.5hrs/week
Successful applicants will possess experience and documented achievements in crisis work with adults and children, and be open to flexible work schedules. Reliable transportation required. Local travel required. Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field required, Master’s preferred, additional life experience respected. Must complete 70-hour counselor/advocate required training.
Services are provided in our main office, satellite locations, and in other community settings. This position is responsible for providing crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, advocacy, and accompaniment, and outreach/awareness to victims/survivors of domestic/sexual assault.
